Welcome to "Survivors"! We're so glad you're here!

This art group is dedicated to fostering well-being, personal growth, healing, and connection through creative expression and community support. It is designed to be a safe and welcoming space for all individuals navigating trauma, addiction, mental illness, or any form of surviving.

Please Note Important Boundaries:

* Not Professional Therapy or Medical Advice: While our group can bring significant comfort and relief, it is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our facilitators and fellow group members are not licensed therapists, counselors, or medical professionals.

* No Individual Diagnoses: This group does not offer individual diagnoses or professional assessments of any kind.

* No Professional Treatment: Participation in this group should not be considered a form of professional therapy or a replacement for any prescribed treatment or medication. We strongly encourage you to consult with qualified healthcare professionals for any mental health or medical concerns.

Seeking Additional Support:

We understand that sometimes, professional help outside the group is beneficial. If you are interested in connecting with professional resources or seeking individual therapeutic support, please speak with Emily, our CDCA. She has a list of trusted numbers and addresses for services in the community.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy:

Confidentiality is paramount in "Survivors." Everything shared within this group, including personal stories, feelings, and artwork, is considered confidential. We ask all members to respect the privacy of others and to refrain from discussing group content outside of our sessions. Your trust and safety are our highest priorities.

Your Comfort Matters:

There is absolutely no pressure to talk if you don't want to. You are welcome to engage in whatever way feels most comfortable for you – whether you want to paint quietly, share your experiences, or simply be present in the supportive atmosphere. Join us however you are comfortable!

Our next group is July 13th at 83 Gallery, 1pm-3pm! (See Flyer for more info!)
