Charcoal, Ink, Wire on Cardboard

This piece was created for a show called “Stacked” at ROY G BIV Gallery. Each artist was given a bankers box to create whatever we wanted with. I sewed the box back together with wire and came up with the word Metamorphosis to not only call out the boxes change from a box to a art piece, but also as my own change in my life. It’s been a long ride with a lot of trauma involved, but I’m always working my way to come out on top! This piece means a lot to me and I hope for it to go to a good home!
